When the valley awakens

Wake up - it's about 3:15am! Time to shoot a series from blue hour to sunrise. Last check of the weather forecast and drive to my location in the Pitztal valley.
It's already autumn in the tyrollean alps and everything is still dark. It's about an hour's walk from my chosen location. Although I am equipped with a searchlight, finding my place is very difficult. It's more like wandering in the dark. One hour left to the blue hour and I have to hurry. A real challenge and time passes faster than expected. Now it has to be fast, so that I can build my composition. Packed in a thick down jacket, I'm now on the image structure. On the left side it is Tschirgant mountain - the home mountain of the Imster. In the middle part of the illuminated hamlet Wald in the Pitztal can be seen. The view extends from the beginning of the Pitztal over the tyrollean Oberland to Telfs. This is the result of this series.
